The Institution of Marriage whether gay or straight, is no longer a sacred union and has been diminished by the introduction of divorce.

Pretty much addicted to this song at the moment, to the point that I feel like spreading the addiction around.

Hook: Webster’s Encyclopedic Unabridged Dictionary of the English Language defenition of marriage states: The social institution under which a man and woman establish there decision to live as husband and wife by legal commitments and religious cerimonies, ect. This has been and is the defenition of marriage for thousands of years. Within the last century or so homosexuality has risen up in the forms or gay rights activists, gay rights groups ect. They all want to be treated equally and fairly. I.e. same sex couples want the right to marry, and recieve the same rights as any other married couple. If we look throughout history at cultures that have totally embrassed homosexuality like Sodom, Greece, Rome, Babylon and others. All of these were amazing civilazations that were completely detroyed from the inside out. So I would dare to say that it is out of fear of the consequences of fully embracing homosexuality that religion does not support it.

Marriage has been defined as between a man and a woman for thousands of years, and it should remain as such.

Gay marriage is quite the topic of controversy these day. and brings about many heated debates. We can’t control the actions that people choose to take, and likewise we can’t dictate who someone will fall in love with weather it be a man or a woman.

When you look at people and observe the features of there face or the tones of there skin, this my view of something we are born with. When we look even deeper to find out ones personal preferences and sexuality, and they state to me they are into boys or girls or maybe even both. I do not see that as how that person was made I see that as a matter of personal preference. That they have come to over the course of there maturity and natural development. So personally I’m not in favor of gay marriage. Not that I have anything against those who choose to be gayI’m just of the belief that marriage is something between a man and a woman.

With California, Florida, Arizona, and other states and gay communities in them trying to pass gay rights laws. Many Religious organizations are worried about the effect this will have on there traditional religious principles. To the point that when the measure for Gay Marriage was going to be voted on in California, the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saint sprang into action. Pulling together money for add campaigns and other funds to persuade people to vote against gay right. Should a church based in Utah, have the ability to stick there hands into California politics? Resulting in the loss of rights for certain individuals.
